Browsing through my new favorite social network Virb I stumbled upon a French band from the United States Of Paris (as their MySpace site declares), This Is Pop.

A mixture of high pitched Indie Rock and plinky, planky Indie Pop. You get the picture!

The name says it all. I threw in some reminiscent songs of my youth and garnished it with todays hottest Indie Rock.

This is my first approach to driving music. I lost it with Xiu Xiu, I know. Eh, what the hell? I like it and it's summer.

Can you mix classic Sixties Rock with todays Indie Rockers. Would they really get along? I think so. And I am convinced Janis would love James Jackson Toth.
