Did I mention that my fallback spot is far away from the city? In fact, it is far away from all cities which sometimes feels like I left mankind behind. Not that I feel overly dramatic today. Most of the weekend’s distress I left behind maltreating my punching bag and running my sorrows away (okay, I am overly dramatic today).
Still, all those activities I wouldn’t count as highlights.
The real highlight of today is tuna. Every once a while something is calling me from the pantry. It calls out: “Do something really nasty to me” So I did. Tuna rémoulade. My prandial atrocity turned out to be so good it decided to share the recipe.
Almighty Spicy Tuna Rémoulade:
- 1 can of tuna
- 2 medium pickles cut into very small squares
- 1 small red onion (or sweet white they got in the U.S.)
- Standard salad sauce
- Spicy Thai Mayonnaise (roughly one-fifth of the salad sauce)
- White vine vinegar
- Some sprinkles of water from the pickles
- Freshly grounded black pepper
- Salt
- Chili
Mixed all the ingredients into creamy, thick, disgusting compound until you can’t stop drooling. Enjoy!
